Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp has been one of the most successful and popular actors of his time, and still even till this day at the age of 52. From the 80s itself, he has been in the limelight since his teenage days. His edgy look and interesting characters have brought him much fame, as well as the style that he sports ever so often. This one man has been a chameleon when it comes to hairstyles, changing it every time to suit his characters on screen and off.

He appeared as a heart throb in the movie 21 Jump Street, playing the role of Officer Tom Hanson, the year 1987. His brown mane took on a side parting with a fringe. The style as outdated as it is now, still managed to make Depp a handsome young man to swoon over during those days.

In the 1990 movie Cry Baby, he sported a quaff with a few strands coming loose to the front. The standard look with a white tee and a leather jacket became a trend following this. The overall look was a rocking one that received much appraisal. Depp showed us just how to perfectly pull it off.

A long mane took over the following years for Johnny, that showed his wavy locks. His look kick started the grange culture with his character in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. Long gone were his clean appeal and the new look took over.

The buzz cut that she sported in 1997 was a huge difference to his previous hairstyle, and gave him a completely different look. We almost could not recognize Johnny Depp in Donnie Brasco, 1997.

However, he grew back his hair and started off with his popular short hairstyles that he often sported with a thin moustache and a short goatee. We think this suits him better but then, Johnny Depp is one man who always managed to too look handsome in the edgy way.

One of his famous hairstyle is the shoulder length long hair that we have come to recognize him with. The brown locks are kept at a length just sitting on his shoulders with a center parting. It was the era of Jack Sparrow and we came to love him as our favorite pirate.

The short layered crop that he sported as he starred in Sweeney Todd was one of the first new hairstyles that he tried. Like his own sense of uniqueness, the hair will always be kept longer than usual, which we think suits him just fine and brings him out as an individual.

Depp’s undercut hairstyle was definitely a unique one as had been sported in 2011. The range of hairstyles that he sported during that time had quite a statement to be made. His undercut would always be messy to keep up with his rugged look.

In 2016, Depp was seen in his usual edgy look during the premier of the Alice Through the Looking Glass in May at London.

Johnny Depp has seen many stories in his hair, not just his life and we will not fail to keep up to date with this actor who continues to be as handsome as he was when younger. His hairstyles are always unique to him and he keeps his individuality, which we cannot help but admire. A man of his own time, Johnny Depp is one of a kind.
